Designing a replacement to an 89-year-old airport terminal is no easy task. That’s why we turned to our community for help. Over the past eight months, Hollywood Burbank Airport held five design charrette workshops in the City of Burbank, as well as workshops in Glendale, Los Angeles and Pasadena. Hundreds have presented their vision for Elevate BUR that will serve our community for generations to come.
The workshops focused primarily on safety improvements, design features and amenities that the community and passengers would like to see in Elevate BUR.
The Charrettes were conducted between March 27 and October 26, 2019. We thank all participants for their contributions.
