Industry Day 2019 for Hollywood Burbank Airport’s Elevate BUR Project

The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority is hosting Hollywood Burbank Airport’s (BUR) Industry Day in anticipation of procurement of a Design-Build firm for the replacement passenger terminal project, now called Elevate BUR.

Elevate BUR includes: the replacement of the current 14-gate terminal; construction of the aircraft apron and taxiway connectors; parking structures, ground support equipment and air cargo facilities; airport administrative space; an aircraft rescue firefighting building; utilities; and roadways.

Elevate BUR will bring the airport into compliance with current airport design standards. It is also an opportunity, 90 years in the making, to create a modern, sustainable, convenient facility that will continue to serve the community for decades to come.

The Authority has decided to pursue a Progressive Design-Build model for delivery of the project. Industry Day will provide up-to-date information on the program, allowing for discussion with Airport Staff and consultants who have been collaborating on the program so far, and provide a networking opportunity for firms interested in collaborating during the selection process.

The event is free to attend, but is recommended for Design-Build team principals at this time. Another event, for trades and material suppliers, will take place at a later date. Please join us:
